Q: What is AR? How is my child doing in AR?
A: AR stands for Accelerated Reader, and it is an online program that tracks your child's reading progress. When they read a book, they will take an AR quiz to earn points towards their AR goal. This goal is based on their independent reading level, and is different for each child. Tests can only be taken at school. To check your child's progress, log on to Renaissance Place Home Connect and create an account.

Q: How is my child doing academically?
A: You can always check your child's grades by logging in to the Aeries Parent Portal. I try to update grades weekly, so unless we took a test in the past day or two, everything should be up to date. Please contact me whenever you have questions or concerns. Sending a message through Remind or e-mail is the best way to reach me.
